Online gambling in Washington is a big no-no but the tribal gaming is expected to have a further expansion as the Spokane pact was finally approve last first week of February.

Spokane tribe had finally won the nod of Governor Chris Gregoire and local officials.

Though it was expected that due to the distance of the tribe's large reservation, it will likely to limit the operation of the devices much lower what is allowed.

State commission is expected to agree to similar tribal compacts with other five tribes that have lucrative markets including Puyallups.

Puyallups presently operates casinos in Tacoma and Fife. They are asking for an approval of additional three thousand gambling machines from it currently operates.

According to Governor's Chief of Staff, Tom Fitzsimmons, similar negotiations with similar terms of Spokane pact are being made with other tribes.

However, Fitzsimmons said that other tribes are unlikely to get the approval of four thousand seven hundred machines because other tribes do not have reservations as large as Spokane. Nevertheless, it is expected that tribal casinos in Washington is expected to jump from the current of eighteen thousand two hundred twenty five to twenty five thousand gambling devices.
